Free Thinking
I'm sure a lot of you have heard about Kayne West's Public meltdown.
Where he expresses his views on gun control, shares his experience when speaking on abortion and makes bold statements about a true leader in the black revolution during slavery. This isn't Kanye's first outburst of bold statements and outrageous views. We are getting to the point where people are requesting his family to provide him with an intervention. While I do believe Kanye's musical talents are incredible with many declaring him a musical genius, I Believe his thinking has gone past the genius stage and into the stage that is just straight-up lost. I wouldn't class him crazy as I believe people that are declared crazy have reached an understanding fair beyond the average person but their troubles dealing with issues that impact their personal lives makes their point of view invalid. Kayne, on the other hand, likes to promote the idea of free-thinking. Now while I'm an advocate for free-thinking, I also believe free-thinking still requires a structure for it to be presented and articulated in the correct way.
Free-Thinking requires you to listen. It requires you to collect information given to you from many sources, to then be processed and draw a conclusion based on the facts you have been given. Free-Thinking does not mean that you can form truths based on opinion. It doesn't mean you can downplay anyone's achievements because you have decided that your opinion is the truth when there is no evidence to back your opinion.
The damage that can be done when Free-Thinking is done incorrectly is corrupt the minds of people who are influenced by individuals. Kanye's Platform is huge. His audience is millions of people all over the world that will defend him and hang on to his every word. With influence like that, it is extremely important that you think about the message you are trying to send out.
The wrong thing could be taken out of context and cause people to react in ways that could cause harm to them or cause them to inflict harm to others. Free-Thinking requires conversation. I couldn't write this article and come to this conclusion without having conversations and collecting data first. The main part about Free-Thinking is the process of drawing your own conclusion. Your not all the way left and you're not all the way right. What you think doesn't have to fall into any specific category but it does need the information so that you have evidence for why your way of thinking is valid.
For someone Like Kayne what is required is mental health therapy. We know celebrities go through this often as fame can be a lot for humans to handle. Fame being the closest thing to Godliness as idolisation occurs is something some celebrities cannot handle and if they don't have the right support system around them could lead to tragedy. I hope he gets the help he needs as I believe he has been hurting for a few years now and he needs help verbalising it in a constructive way instead of just saying whatever emotional feeling comes to him. As an influence to young people sometimes it takes a true leader to know when they are not in the right position to take their followers any further and I believe if he really cared about his fans he would help himself and be honest in knowing he's no longer capable of leading them.
