Is extreme feminism a thing?

Can women be taking it too far with how they are going about wanting equality with men?

They want to be held to the same standard as men, and I support and agree that they should get the same treatment. When it comes to working, salaries, having a voice in the political world and most importantly, respect.

What I don't support is the attitude of how new-age feminism is being carried out.

Hence the term,

Feminazi's

Yes, I know the term seems a bit too extreme, but if you know that doesn't apply to you, this should have no effect on you but just an interesting perspective to look at.

I was asked to write my views on how modern women are taking feminism to a place that seems to be extremely confusing.

I was asked to write about this topic,

By a woman.

My take on this is solely based on extreme feminism, and if you had no idea that this existed, let me enlighten you.

From my perspective, extreme feminism comes from women wanting to emulate men instead of equaling them.

There's a movement of women who've taken the foundation of equality for women and spun this narrative into wanting to mimic men. Instead of bringing the amazing qualities, women have to the forefront and using them as an advantage in a more liberal society. I feel there is a culture right now where some women choose to copy men's attitudes because they believe it is more beneficial to furthering themselves.

There is a trend going on right now where men's toxic mannerisms are becoming standard in women. Traits and characteristic men were once criticised for are now becoming something that a group of women have adopted.

The belittling of men and the disregard of any man's perspective, whether for or against women's rights, is a toxic trait women have adopted even though they suffer the same conditions.

Being vulgar and disrespectful, referencing genitalia of the opposite sex and using masculine terms in conversation is now a trait normalised in women's new culture.

Neglecting the nurturing attributes that women naturally posses for a more aggressive dog eat dog mindset even towards their partners. It's no longer about teamwork, but more about someone needing to be the alpha, and women are seeking to be alpha using the same methods that oppressed them. If there's so much masculinity going around, who's there to counter it to bring balance? Being maternal is a quality women are starting to feel comes instantly through motherhood, not realising its a skill you learn throughout life. A quality some men lack.

We are not made the same. We are not even equal. In all actuality, women should be held to a higher standard in society because they are the creators of life. The Gods that walk the planet.

So why is this trend occurring where women are lowering their selves to man? These Egotistical, Chauvinistic, arrogant tyrants. It's not like they have chosen to adopt the good qualities in men. They have decided that they want to use the traits that women themselves have rallied and suffered against. The characteristics that allow men to progress in society at the expense of everything and everyone else.

There are many examples of women being successful and loving and owning a woman's qualities that empowers them and gives them the respect they deserve.

Serena Williams

Erykah Badu

Beyonce

Michelle Obama

Adele

Ava DuVernay

Scarlett Johansson

All women who don't feel the need to mimic men's flaws to elevate themselves to a higher standard.

Who know their worth as women and use that as strength in a patriarchy society.

Feminism is a delicate subject because I believe it is a new form of freedom that women haven't grasped yet, and I think that not all women from every race or ethnicity have that same freedom.

We're all at different ends of the spectrum in life. Still, that conversation is for another article, but what I'm trying to say is feminism for a black woman is not the same as feminism for a white woman or an Asian woman or Arab woman, etc.

We are all facing different fights, and that's where I believe the confusion lies because I feel all women are fighting the battle of white feminism. They are demanding equal pay and a level playing field when the rest are still dealing with colourism and a woman's worth within our societies. We're still dealing with our women being seen as sexual objects, still dealing with the effects of broken homes and men out of the household and daddy issues.

We still have roles to play in our societies that white people don't.

Once we can address the foundation and mend some of the traumatic conditions we have endured, we will have the equality that works for us.

Women of colour dictate culture, and men's culture and nature respond to women's actions. If you tell us to come to you with some respect, we will respect you. But the minute it is okay to degrade a woman and get away with it, all bets are off, and we will take advantage of how easy it is to get what we want.

I've heard women say it's hard for most women to get along with each other, but that is the key to feminism.

It has nothing to do with men. Its everything to do with the network women build with each other. The codes and rules women make with each other.

Classy women will always come out the loser to a society with women who use sex as a weapon because what's in between a woman's legs has more power than they realise. If all women don't value it the same, then feminism will always create toxic divisions.

We want to believe we have evolved so far from nature, but It's still about the basics for many men in this world. A woman's value and what's between a woman's legs is the most valuable jewel on earth. Pimping is the oldest business in the world for a reason, so the moment that a woman's flower got a price tag was the moment society crumbled. I believe that women devaluing the most valued commodity on earth set equality as far back as its been. I'm not talking about a man taking sex from women. Rape is another thing. I'm talking about woman willingly giving their vagina away at a price.  I believe this to be the root.

Bring back the value of a woman, and you will get the value of equality.

The loss of a woman's value includes self-esteem, confidence, level of jealousy, importance. Once women understand how important they are as just feminine beings, we will see a shift in the attitude men in modern society will show towards them.

Whatever backlash I get from writing this, I will fully accept and learn from all the valid points given. Being a man, speaking on women's views is already a point that will be argued as it can be easily said I have no idea what a woman goes through, and that is correct, but it doesn't mean some of my points won't hold any truths. I look forward to learning and growing on this topic.
