The Process

I want to take you guys through the process it takes for me to write.

I have so many conversations with family members and friends, and even people I have met on the street. I believe everyone has a valuable perspective when it comes to life, even the person you would least expect.

Good communication is vital for society because it's what can bond us or separate us. I believe that with the right form of communication, we can be so much closer as human beings. We can lead a much more loving and selfless life. One of the most significant issues is that we don't learn how to understand each other. What we do instead is put our perspective and our perspective alone at the forefront of our mind and try to understand the conversation based solely on how we see it.

When I discuss topics with others, I try my best to understand their opinion from their point of view. I try my best to understand what makes them come to this conclusion; so that could include me digging deeper into their life to get a better understanding of their thought process.

For example, I could be having a conversation with a person who has a different view when it comes to success. People can have different opinions on what they deem success. Some people can reference the happiness of their family as a success, and it takes for you to understand what they consider as valuable in their life so you may have to ask about their childhood. You may have to be utterly selfless with how to view that person's understanding. Once you can take your ideas and standpoint out of that personal opinion, then you learn to respect that individuals voice and their mind.

That is the approach I try to take when having my discussions. I try to understand the perception being shown to me but then for me to transfer it from a verbal conversation to a written conversation is the part I enjoy the most. I enjoy trying to dissect a conversation and deliver the message as transparent as possible by giving multiple views and ultimately ending with a conclusion that is a collective of the information presented and trying to have some form of enlightenment or advice that can benefit someone's life.

The process of writing for me is almost like seeing something taking place around me and having a "Why" moment.

I am a person that asks a lot of questions. I ask myself a lot of questions and ask the world a lot of questions, and although the world may not answer me back directly, I try my best to get answers from what I observe. I investigate and come up with a solution that will bring me a better understanding. I believe life to have a deeper meaning than what we are presented. I'm not a person who can be told information, and it is taken as gospel; sometimes I like to figure it out myself. To put it hypothetically, I'm a person who wants to touch the fire instead of being told not to because it's hot. I prefer to find out a person myself than being told about them. As humans, we have learned to take a lot of shortcuts in life even in regards to information. Although i don't see that as a negative in some circumstances, I do believe the process of knowing someone cannot be cheated. Each person is an individual and cannot be cheated by attaching who a person is by the stereotype of a race or ethnicity.

Everything in life can be a new and fascinating discovery for you if you apply the process of openness. Everything I write comes from the perspective of learning. I hope that with the information readers can understand that communication will always allow you to discover so many different answers to questions that life asks of you.
