Why Funeralizm?
I've had many conversations with people when it comes to the name I chose to represent my brand. Funeralizm. Why would I use a name associated with death to represent myself? I've been told there is something morbid associated with the name, of course, it having the word funeral in it would add to that understanding but let me give a break down to the name. Funealizm is about celebrating the positive things about yourself and appreciating the greatness in you before its too late. During funerals, friends and family members come up and speak about the person they loved and what that person meant to them. That part is what Funeralizm stands for. I want people to be aware of how great they are before its too late. I want people to be the best version of themselves by noticing the qualities others see in them that they may not see in themselves. Funeralizm is the process of ridding yourself of the old you, burying the version of yourself that drags you down and no longer appeals to you. The version of yourself that's holding you back and the only way we know what holds us back is by being shown the flaws. Funeralizm is about growth and fighting the fear of change. We fear death cause we're afraid of the impact it will have on our lives. We fear death because beyond life is unknown, but death is a celebration of life. Funeralizm is about celebrating life, empowerment. It's about you looking at yourself in a mirror and thinking you are an amazing individual. You're unique., nothing like anyone else on this planet, The Star to your blockbuster movie.
Funeralizm is a lifestyle. The "Izm" in the word is with respect to religion.
Religion is a way of life. It has rules and orders that people live by and follow and feel makes them apart of a bigger cause. It allows people to feel valued. I want you to feel valued because YOU ARE VALUABLE. You are more than your job, more than your social status, you are whatever greatness you allow yourself to be. But you have to allow it. You have to be willing to tap into your potential and want to take the risk. You have to want to outgrow the environment you come from. "The goal is to make it out the hood" To make it out of the hardships you stem from. Life is like a relay. We run around this circle of life. We're children then we grow into adults, we work and try to make a name for ourselves and leave a legacy behind. We have kids and whatever we leave to our kids, is the point they start from. Our life is the baton for our kids.
What kind of life do you want to place in their hand for them to carry?
I want you to take away from this post the new beginning to you. I want you to look at Funeralizm as a lifestyle that allows you to excel beyond the standard of average life. I want you to have a multiperspective of life. Be able to look at your life and be able to play out 5 different scenarios and choose the best one for you. The end game is the most important. Live for now but don't forget that the end is the most important. The person on the last leg of the relay has to drive it home for the win so make sure you have the best version of yourself when you past life onto your anchor leg.
Funeralizm.
