Marathon Laps

August 15th. Nipsey Hussle birthday. I have done a lot of transitions since my last post. Moved back to NYC from London. I lived in NYC for 5 years before I decided to go back home to London for a couple of months. I had a lot going on and needed to take an unexpected break from me living in NYC to regroup and reprogramme my mind. Sometimes I feel like in life we make mental decisions in our heads and create a side to ourselves we don't necessarily enjoy being. Maybe we create that side of ourself to deal with situations. Whether that be grief or a loss or some sort of a transition in power. It's good to adapt to survive but don't make it consume you. But then because of the culture we come from we have a "this is who I am so I don't care what you think". It's a good mindset to have but its not good when even you don't like the person you have become. When you get into situations in life. A new relationship or a new job and doesn't work out and the similar reasons are that you are the cause, that's when you have to evaluate the person you are and work on ways you can reprogramme yourself to succeed. It doesn't have to be you moving away it could be you getting into something you wouldn't have thought you could even see yourself doing. I do a lot of reading. I read books that encourage you to look at things from multiple perspectives. The type of person I am, I enjoy trying to understand things from so many different angles cause I believe the world consists of millions of dimensions which means there are so many different ways you can see life. We can alter how we look at something even if it's from a good perspective, there could still be another way that's just as good. you could also take up sports. Working out is a good way to motivate you, to energise you, boost your metabolism. Working out can completely change how you look after yourself cause you may start with your exterior but then once you see the improvement of the physical you, you're going to want to start working on the internal you. These things all go hand in hand cause you are changing the frequency that you're on. You're entering a different state of mind to benefit the positive you that you're rebuilding because life's challenges break you down and sometimes people, instead of trying to overcome and win the challenges people start to just survive the waves of challenges they endure. I want you to understand that winning the challenges of life and Surviving them are two completely different things. When you win the challenges of life you are actively trying to do things to overcome your circumstances and do better than where you were. When you just survive the challenges your just holding on for dear life hoping through divine intervention your gonna make it out of this.
YOU ACTIVELY NEED TO MAKE THE CHANGES TO OVERCOME CHALLENGES IN YOUR LIFE!
This is not going to be easy. This will take you being completely honest with yourself. Stripping the layers of excuses you created to make yourself feel better for the battles your facing. Take a pen and write down a list of things you want to achieve for yourself in 5-year personal goals. Things that you have the power and resources to change. Place it somewhere you can see it daily so that you're always reminded and actively try to make these changes happen to give yourself small achievements cause the older you get the fewer achievements you receive. take the opportunity to create these achievements for your self it will boost your self-esteem so much and boost your confidence so much that will make living life more enjoyable. "You gotta go hard, you gotta believe in yourself. You gotta have a sense of humour to know that the bullshit is gonna happen, you can't be too serious about it or too emotional and fake when the bullshit happens. You gotta just stick to the script, believe and have an overwhelming confidence. Be your own biggest fan, your own biggest believer, and put it on your back and carry the weight." - Nipsey Hussle
