Keep Going
Today marks 2 years since I started writing. I have something to write about every time I open my eyes. I find reasons to write every time I step outside, turn on the news or interact with people. Life is forever changing, and so are our ideals and our purposes. I'm forever in search of peace and self-fulfilment. Being able to feel free mentally, spiritually and physically. Being able to transition from the world I create for myself to the world we are a part of. As Covid starts to ease up, we start to see people slowly get back into their norms. Start to appreciate the small things they took for granted. Start to value family and friends more. As that is happening, I feel that people really want to find something that brings happiness and joy into their lives. That's what this pandemic has been about. Humans are resourceful. We found so many ways to keep our minds going, keep our spirits high and our energy up. We've faced so many setbacks, so many catastrophes, and we keep pushing forward. If we can do this when we have no other choice, why can't we do this when there are choices? Why can't we be as motivated to push for the dreams we want? We managed to make Sprite out of Lemons under these circumstances, so can we keep it up once this is over?
I believe we can.
I believe we learnt so many skills and built up so much confidence and motivation. There will be a surge in creativity from people just like we've been seeing with all the podcasts popping up lately. I believe we're going to see creativity beyond that, which will create more avenues for people to share content, products and services.
I always remember why I started this.
I wanted to give people a perspective that they could understand.
I wanted to inspire, motivate and encourage people to go on a journey and seek what makes them happy. Be the best version of themselves.
No matter the setbacks, you can overcome them. You have been doing it.
This pandemic is proof of that.
No matter what, as long as you wake up every morning, your life has meaning. It's valuable. Do something great with it and cherish every step that's being taken. You owe that to yourself.
Find hobbies, interests that make you feel like you are more than your job or your flaws. Take the time to invest in developing a healthier mindset. We always look at the first step to improving ourselves as working out and getting fit and healthy. That also includes your mind. By creating and improving your mentality, you can prevent relapsing to old negative ways. You can create a system internally that will help you overcome the obstacles you've always wanted to. We tend to neglect the mind when we talk about improving ourselves, but it's the most important piece of the puzzle in our mission for self-improvement.
No matter what the circumstances Also as you can wake up, step outside and interact with people. You have a purpose, and you are Valuable.
Keep Going.
